Hey y'all

Born and raised in central Texas, I almost always had my nose buried in a book as a child. Fiction and I were inseparable. In fact, one of my most prized possessions was a headlamp that I wore to read in the car, the closet, under the covers…  Anywhere, really. It was no surprise to anyone that I decided my life goal was to be a writer.

In December 2014, I graduated cum laude from St. Edward’s University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Writing and Rhetoric and a concentration in Creative Writing.

From July 2015 until March 2019, I worked in Japan as an English Instructor through the JET Program. I lived in Mie Prefecture: home of the ninja, pearl diving, and dancing clams.

Currently, I am being shuffled around the United States with my husband, who is in the Air Force, and working on developing a career as a Freelance Writer and Editor. You can find me on Upwork, or you can contact me by email for your writing needs.
